Christmas concert in Piazzetta San Marco
It starts on December 7th. In Piazzetta San Marco, at the foot of the large illuminated tree, it will be up to the gospel choir Vocal Skyline directed by Maestro Marco Toso Borella, to inaugurate the calendar of events with a concert of traditional Christmas music. The show is open to all, free and will start at 18:00.
The magic of Christmas music at the foot of the bell tower, in the shadow of the Basilica and with the basin that acts as an incredible setting: to listen, to admire, to experience.

Concert of the Immaculate Conception in the Basilica of Santi Giovanni and Paolo
December 8th Venice celebrates the solemnity of the Immaculate Conception with the traditional concert at the Basilica of Saints John and Paul. It is an event that is not only festive and festive, but above all beneficial: the proceeds from the offers collected during the evening, in fact, will be completely donated to the project of the AVSI Tents campaign in support of refugees from difficult areas of South Sudan, Syria and Kazakhstan . A choice that shows all the sensitivity of the organizers in such a complex and delicate social moment.
Now in its eleventh edition, in the setting of the magnificent Basilica, the Cappella Marciana, the patriarchal liturgical choir of San Marco will offer a fascinating journey of sacred polyphony, proposing harmonies linked to the tradition of Marian devotion throughout the resplendent centuries of Venetian music.
Suggestive, exciting, for a good cause.

The Campo San Polo ice skating rink
Now too, this is tradition! It starts on December 7th.
Like every year, Venetians and tourists, young and old, await the inauguration of the ice skating rink that is installed in Campo San Polo. Of considerable size, it allows virtuosos and non-entertainments, also offering, in the long period of stay, performances of figure skating, hockey and curling demonstrations, even on-ice parades.
The track can only be accessed if fitted with gloves, and if you do not have a pair of ice skates you can rent them on site.
"The shifts lasting about an hour and a half (for example 15.00- 17.00 / 17.30-19.00) interspersed with a 30-minute break, except for the one-hour break between the 11.00-12.30 / 13.30-15.00 shift. "
The track will be accessible from 7 December 2019 until 25 February 2020, at the following times:
• Weekdays: 15: 00/19: 00
• Saturday: 11: 00/21: 00
• Sunday: 11: 00/19: 00
The cost is € 12 for adults and € 7 for children up to 12 years. The price includes skate rental.
The Campo San Polo track is not the only one in the "Le città in festa" events, in good company with those of Mestre and Marghera.
The Mestre runway is installed in Piazza Ferretto in the period from 11/30/2010 to 06/01/2020.
That of Marghera is in Piazza Mercato from 10.11.2019 to 19.01.2020.
