What if we played the Casino?

Founded in 1638, it is one of the oldest gambling houses in the world and is located in the historical palace Ca' Vendramin Calergi, inside the Cannaregio district. This historic building harmoniously overlooks the Grand Canal and has been in time the home of dukes, doges or even great artists such as the German musician and composer Richard Wagner.

The idea of spending New Year's Eve celebrating in a palace like this can be absolutely intriguing. For New Year's Eve the Venetian Casino organizes not only the usual gaming activities but also a rich dinner with a toast to greet the beginning of the new year. The events take place both in its historical venue and in its second venue in Ca' Noghera of  Favaro Veneto, near Marco Polo Airport, an American-style casino located on the mainland. And after the festivities without overdoing it, you might as well try your luck, don't you think?
